PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $134,200.00-$164,000.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $104,200.00 - $194,000.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As the Sr. Deposits Pricing Manager, your work will directly shape the financial growth and satisfaction of BECU members. You will drive innovative pricing strategies through modeling and analytics that are not only profitable but also aligned with BECU’s mission of serving our members with value and integrity. Through your efforts, you will help create a compelling value proposition for our deposit products, making a measurable impact on both BECU’s bottom line and the overall member experience. Your role will bridge critical functions like finance, treasury, and risk management, positioning you to deliver impactful solutions that fuel both member retention and growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage Profitability & Strategy: You’ll play a crucial role in managing the Deposit Product Profit & Loss (P&L) process and developing strategies that align with BECU’s business goals, ensuring both growth and profitability.

  • Analyze Financial Results & Competitiveness: Oversee your assigned product set by analyzing financial data and assessing market competitiveness. Your insights will directly shape the value proposition for BECU's deposit products.

  • Execute Pricing Governance: Lead and manage the Pricing Governance process. You’ll provide monthly pricing recommendations that not only reflect BECU’s performance but also benchmark data to guide decision-making.

  • Develop Modeling & Analysis Tools: Create and refine portfolio balance, acquisition, and account modeling tools. These resources will empower pricing recommendations and support BECU’s planning and forecasting processes.

  • Ensure Compliance & Risk Management: Your role will involve ensuring that all product offerings comply with regulatory requirements, helping mitigate any associated risks while ensuring strong product integrity.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with teams in marketing, legal, IT, and more to design and execute product strategies that drive growth. Your collaboration ensures that every department is aligned with delivering the best experience for our members.

  • Support Sales & Distribution Channels: Lead sales support initiatives across all distribution channels (e.g., mobile, website, contact center). You’ll provide the tools, training, and collateral needed to ensure the product is well-positioned for success in the marketplace.

  • Optimize Account Acquisition & Retention: Develop and execute pricing strategies that enhance account acquisition and retention for BECU’s most strategic member partnerships.

  • Identify & Mitigate Risks: Continuously assess potential risks in business activities and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate any challenges.

  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee vendor contracts, ensuring that BECU gets the most cost-effective and high-quality services, delivering value to both the organization and its members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, management, statistics or related discipline or equivalent work or educational experience.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in product management, finance, data analysis & modeling, pricing, or related roles at a financial institution.

  • Experience with consumer and business deposit products.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide business and competitive analytics.

  • Ability to perform portfolio management and pricing.

  • Experience with Curinos Deposits Analyzer and Optimizer Suite (formerly PriceTek).

  • Experience leveraging different types of data to form hypotheses and ultimately build and recommend a strategy.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

  • Ability to influence and work across technical and cross-functional teams.
