Role Summary 

The Senior Data Operations Analyst (Level 3) is responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day production cycles with strict adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, resolving issues, supporting process improvements, and enabling automation initiatives within NielsenIQ’s Consumer Information Platform (CIP). 

The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across global, cross-functional teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Execute daily and periodic production cycles in line with defined quality, accuracy, and turnaround time (TAT) standards 

  • Perform data input operations and validation across assigned markets and datasets 

  • Identify data anomalies, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders 

  • Collaborate effectively with onshore, offshore, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges 

  • Adhere to and contribute to the documentation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 

  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process efficiency improvements 

  • Develop and execute basic automation solutions using SQL, R, Python, or Excel macros 

  • Support CIP deployments, system enhancements, and adoption of new tools and features 

  • Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery 

  • Operate efficiently in a virtual, multicultural, and geographically distributed work environment 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 18 months of experience in data operations, analytics, or related operational roles 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Commerce, BBA, or a related field 

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities 

  • Working proficiency in written and spoken English 

  • Hands-on exposure to SQL, R, Python, and working with large datasets; basic awareness of ML/AI concepts 

  • Understanding of operational KPIs, quality metrics, and process adherence 

  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
