Sr. Country Manager - BE NL FR – Expedia TAAP

We are looking for candidates who want to supercharge growth leveraging our data & tools and their expertise in the French and BeNeLux travel agency landscape.
What you’ll do:
- Cultivate & maintain an in-depth knowledge of TAAP performance in France, Netherlands and Belgium including:
- Full end-to-end responsibility for the BE, NL, and FR markets — from defining country-level strategy and setting commercial priorities, to leading and coaching the local sales team on day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment between long-term market goals and on-the-ground agency engagement and GBV delivery.
- Develop new business by adding opportunities and bring on new agencies as well as increase our participation with existing ones
- Identify, pursue and foster strategic partnerships with top agencies, consortia and agency networks
- Guide our general sales agency (GSA) to build and execute strategies and grow the business through the local team
- Bridge the gap between the team on the ground and the leadership team, to share market insights and help define priorities around product, service and commercial offering
- Source and present insightful data including performance, market and competitor analysis, to implement meaningful action plans based on the data.
- Execute your plans to hit targets and support strategic objectives
Who you are:
You’ll fit this role if you have:
- Business level French and English, Dutch is a plus
- 5-7 years’ experience in a travel agency-facing role or in an account management role in travel
- Proven sales growth track record in the travel trade.
- A leader of people and motivator for the people you work with
- A passion for digging through data points to understand complex problems and an understanding of how these can become growth opportunities
- Knowledge of the travel space in Europe, particularly France, Netherlands and Belgium
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
