Summary:
In this role, you will lead highly complex consulting engagements that deliver strategic insight and measurable value for clients. You will direct consulting teams across multiple projects, apply advanced analytical expertise to solve complex business challenges, influence executive decision-making, and build trusted relationships with senior client leaders, including the C-suite. You will also support business development, contribute to practice growth, and mentor consultants to strengthen consulting capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple complex consulting engagements or a single large-scale engagement while ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Direct consulting teams in performing advanced analyses that generate strategic insight and solve complex business challenges.
Interpret analytical findings and present compelling recommendations that influence client decision-making and organizational outcomes.
Mentor and develop less experienced consultants in data analysis, data storytelling, consulting methodologies, and best practices.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior client leaders, including executive and C-suite stakeholders.
Present findings, recommendations, and business cases with clarity and confidence to executive-level client audiences.
Oversee project financial performance, including project planning, resource management, and project profit and loss.
Identify opportunities for additional consulting engagements and support business development through lead generation, proposal development, marketing activities, and sales support.
Contribute to practice development by developing knowledge capital, participating in conferences and speaking engagements, and generating innovative consulting solutions and services.
Track project success during and after engagements while coordinating consulting teams across multiple client accounts.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
7 or more years of relevant experience required.
Demonstrated expertise leading complex consulting engagements and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
Exceptional executive-level presentation, facilitation, and written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted client relationships.
Experience managing project financial performance, including scope, budget, and profitability.
Experience supporting business development, proposal development, and sales activities preferred.
Ability to mentor, coach, and develop consulting team members.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
