Key Responsibilities
Compliance Program Development & Implementation
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance and integrity programs, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance, ethical conduct, and accountability throughout the organization.
- Ensure alignment of local compliance programs with global standards and applicable Chinese laws and regulations.
- Design and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to address identified issues.
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of compliance controls and recommend improvements.
Investigations & Enforcement
- Manage internal investigations into potential compliance and integrity violations.
- Coordinate investigative activities, including fact-finding, interviews, and documentation review.
Recommend and support appropriate corrective and disciplinary actions where necessary.
Training & Awareness
- Develop and deliver tailored compliance training programs for employees and management.
- Ensure employees understand their legal obligations and company policies related to compliance and integrity.
Drive awareness initiatives to embed ethical behavior across the organization.
Regulatory Monitoring & Advisory
- Stay current on changes in in-region laws, regulations, and enforcement trends, particularly in areas of expertise.
- Provide practical legal guidance to business stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
Communicate regulatory updates and their impact to relevant internal teams.
External Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
- Support regulatory inquiries, inspections, and reporting obligations.
Act as a key point of contact for compliance-related matters in APAC
QualificationsQualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; admission to practice law preferred.
- 5–7 years of relevant legal and compliance experience, ideally within multinational organizations or law firms.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following:
- Competition/antitrust law
- Anti-corruption and anti-bribery (e.g., FCPA, PRC laws)
- Internal investigations
- Regulatory compliance
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound legal judgment.
- Experience leading complex investigations and compliance initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English required.

Skills Required
