Detailed Roles and Responsibilities
➢ Place purchase orders for RPMs according to production plans and provide forecasts to suppliers as requested. SKU number around ~150.
➢ Capacity analysis for key RPMs, call out risk and alert relevant department if it is needed.
➢ Arrange reasonable delivery plans according to detailed production scheduling to ensure the production plans to be executed smoothly.
➢ Control inventory, especially for seasonal and discontinued RPMs. Lower the stocks on hand, reduce SLOB inventory and write off cost.
➢ Review master data, process, etc. and find opportunity to improve KPIs of material planning.
➢ Support warehouse and transportation cost-saving/service enhancement projects, including data collection, performance benchmarking, and root-cause analysis.
➢ Assist in analyzing third party cost-to-serve, service level compliance, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
➢ To use Lean principles and tools to systematically eliminate waste in the warehousing processes.
➢ To be the Process Owner for the Logistics Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)’s used within the process framework, and to act as an auditor in an audit program across all clusters to ensure process compliance and to share best practice between countries and identify improvement opportunities
Educational qualificationsBachelor's degree or higher, majoring in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related field
Experience
➢ Be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
➢ Have good organizational skills be a self-starter and a team player.
➢ Be proficient in using computers. It is better to have experience of SAP and Excel etc.
➢ 1-2 years’ experience in planning.
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
➢ Can work on extended hours as needed
➢ Experience with logistics related
➢ Demonstrates basic understanding and experience of Lean principles
