The Senior Advisor, Technology Services plays a critical role in driving a culture of collaboration and integrated strategy across ITS, the ALSAC enterprise, and external partners. This leader is responsible for shaping and executing operational strategy within a designated focus area while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
This role is highly cross-functional, requiring strong relationship-building, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technology-enabled solutions. The Senior Advisor will proactively identify opportunities, manage risks, and lead efforts that connect teams, ideas, and initiatives to deliver measurable business outcomes.
A key aspect of this role includes advancing AI and automation adoption— as a strategic partner who can identify high-value opportunities, guide pilot efforts to production, and lead change management to ensure successful adoption.
What You’ll DoStrategic Partnership & Advisory- Serve as a trusted advisor to ITS leadership and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technology strategies aligned with enterprise goals
- Represent business partners in conversations with senior leadership regarding strategic priorities, revenue goals, and operational needs
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and shared outcomes
- Facilitate collaboration across teams, ensuring integrated solutions that meet enterprise needs
- Connect initiatives, teams, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive strategies and operational plans
- Partner with business and IT leaders to design, test, and implement scalable, efficient processes
- Lead the execution of operational strategies within your focus area (e.g., IT governance, business process integration, technology services)
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, adaptability, and responsiveness to changing business needs
- Establish and reinforce organizational norms, behaviors, and ways of working that support success
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation can enhance business processes and improve outcomes
- Partner with technical teams to move AI/automation solutions from pilot to production
- Define success metrics and monitor performance to ensure AI investments deliver measurable value
- Lead change management and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption and sustainability
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to business operations and technology initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity, compliance, and operational resilience
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, uncover trends, and optimize performance
- Serve as a leader across ITS and enterprise initiatives, both internally and with external partners
- Use influence, strong communication, and organizational awareness to drive clarity, alignment, and commitment
- Ensure ITS vision and strategy are effectively communicated and understood across stakeholders
- Strategic Business & Technology Advisory: Align business needs with scalable technology strategies
- Product & Platform Roadmap Alignment: Ensure business priorities are reflected in roadmaps
- Cross-Functional Integration: Deliver connected, enterprise-wide solutions
- Fundraising & Business Domain Expertise: Align technology with operational and fundraising outcomes
- 7+ years of experience in fundraising, IT operations, communications, supplier management, or a related field
- Demonstrated progression in leadership responsibilities, including strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational development
- Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge business and technology
- Practical understanding of AI and automation use cases in business environments
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and influencing without direct authority
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity, navigate organizational dynamics, and drive results
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Communications, or related field
This position is based at ALSAC’s National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
