Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join our Large Commercial team. As the primary point of contact for assigned clients, this role is responsible for managing day-to-day service needs, coordinating renewals and marketing activities, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure a high level of service and account retention.
The Senior Account Manager independently oversees a book of business, provides consultative insurance support, and works closely with producers to support new business development and client growth opportunities. This role may also assist Account Executives with clients requiring extensive administrative service and complex account support.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, delivering timely, professional, and proactive service.
Manage the day-to-day servicing of a book of business, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, ID cards, and coverage-related requests.
Market new and renewal business to insurance carriers, preparing submissions and obtaining competitive coverage and pricing options.
Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, reviewing exposures, and preparing renewal proposals.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, carrier requests, and internal service needs while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Review new and renewal policies, endorsements, and other coverage documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with client needs and carrier requirements.
Prepare and review annual policy audits and assist clients with audit-related questions and documentation.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, activities, and correspondence within the agency management system (Applied EPIC).
Leverage carrier and agency technology platforms, including upload/download functionality and other interface tools, to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with Producers and Account Executives to support client retention, account growth, and new business opportunities.
Provide administrative and service support for complex accounts and clients requiring a higher level of account management.
Identify potential coverage gaps, service concerns, account issues, escalating matters and communicating key developments to Producers, Account Executives, and leadership as appropriate.
Maintain current knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting requirements, policy provisions, carrier appetites, and industry trends.
Participate in ongoing professional development, licensing compliance, and continuing education opportunities.
Assist with special projects, team initiatives, and provide backup support for other account management functions as needed.
Requirements
Commercial insurance industry experience and/or demonstrated ability to successfully handle complexities of job, required. Mid-market or large commercial account experience highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, renewals, policy servicing, and carrier relationships.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work proactively.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Experience with Applied EPIC or other agency management systems highly preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to calculate and interpret insurance-related figures, including premiums, commissions, and percentages.
Education and Experience
High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience.
Active Property & Casualty license required.
Professional designations such as CPCU, CRIS, or similar insurance certifications preferred.

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
