We have an immediate need for a SQL Developer to join our team. The SQL team is responsible for not only database applications and procedures but also analysis and application development.
Core Responsibilities
- Designs, builds and implements relational databases
- Tests databases for performance, fine-tuning when necessary
- Completes documentation on all assigned systems and databases, including business rules, logic,and processes
- Tests documents and implements developed programs
- Works closely with other members of the BA, DBA and IS teams, sharing knowledge and makingrecommendations as needed
Requirements
- Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- At least 3+ years’ experience with Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) process using DTS/SSIS application tools
- Good Transact-SQL (advanced queries, complex joins and indexes)
- Advanced knowledge of DTS/SSIS and Data Extraction and Transformations
- Ability to write, debug and test stored procedures, functions, triggers
- Ability to optimize stored procedures written by others
- Ability to use critical thinking to solve issues that arise
- Ability to troubleshoot database performance issues
- Experience in Azure Data Factory (preferred)
Education or Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
