THE ROLE:
Join the Genius team helping sportsbooks level up with live data, expert services, and fan-first experiences that drive global engagement.
As a Sports Data Operations Analyst – Recruitment & Training, you'll take an important part in the implementation of the necessary procedures for a centralized and uniform approach towards recruitment and training of statisticians. You will ensure that all recruitment practices as well as training material are up-to-date and will actively guide statisticians during their onboarding phase. In addition to that, you will oversee the performance of statisticians via match re-checks and data analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage recruitment & hiring processes – Post and maintain job ads, take part in the recruitment process, and coordinate candidates’ applications.
- Oversee onboarding – Create user profiles, manage platform access, and guide new statisticians through their first steps.
- Coordinate training – Organize and monitor training sessions, testing, and match rechecks to ensure readiness and accuracy.
- Maintain training resources – Develop, update, and standardize all training materials and documentation.
- Monitor quality and performance – Analyze onboarding efficiency, check data quality, and ensure compliance with procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Excellent English communication – You write and speak clearly, confidently, and professionally.
- Tech and data proficiency – Skilled in Google Tools, MS Office; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset – You approach problems logically and use data to guide improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills & Calm under pressure – You enjoy collaborating and stay organized and effective when handling multiple priorities.
- Organized and proactive – You plan ahead, take initiative, and deliver on deadlines.
- Passion for sport – You have knowledge of the rules and gameplay of Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and/or other sports, supporting your understanding of our work.
IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU KNOW:
- Training and facilitation – Experience developing or delivering training programs.
- Recruitment analytics – Understanding how to evaluate recruitment and onboarding performance.
- Data visualization – Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for reporting insights.
