Game Operations Specialist
This role is part of Genius' team that helps sports leagues and teams boost performance on and off the field using cutting-edge tech, analytics, and visual insights.
We are looking for an individual who can lead as a Game Operations Specialist. Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring the overall success of tracking and event validation for multiple sports leagues around the world. The specialist will lead the team to process live tracks, validate sports-specific markings and events, handle day-to-day activities, develop and implement future strategies, and to work closely with department leadership to meet expectations and objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead Game Operations & Team Performance: Oversee live tracking and event validation across global leagues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high team performance.
- Master Systems & Processes: Develop deep expertise in tracking systems and workflows, ensuring full control and continuous improvement of operations.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance operational documentation, critically evaluating and optimizing ways of working.
- Operational Planning & Staffing: Support and influence staffing decisions in alignment with engineering developments and client SLAs.
- Troubleshooting & System Expertise: Act as the go-to expert for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues and failures.
- Game Day Leadership: Lead operational support during live matches, serving as the main point of contact for Genius IQ games.
- Data Quality & Validation: Monitor and evaluate data discrepancies, ensuring accurate and high-quality data delivery.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with international teams to ensure seamless coordination across multiple offices.
- Team Coordination & Management: Manage and coordinate a large pool of contractors, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
- Real-Time Performance Oversight: Monitor and guide the performance of rotating international teams, applying strong people management skills in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:
- Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able and available to work according to the various sporting league schedules, which include holidays during the regular season (including the day after Christmas Day (Boxing Day) and New Year's Day).
- Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
