APEX TK is looking for a skilled and motivated Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) within the Office of the Chief Engineer. This role focuses on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle management—including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide direct operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO (CED) under the Specialty Engineering Director.
- Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions, ensuring absolute data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) utilizing STEPSTONE and EL-CID programs.
- Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests utilizing Spectrum XXI (SXXI) for developmental, fielded, and new systems.
- Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases to support operational and engineering activities.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues between developmental and deployed systems.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.
- Develop, update, compile, and submit Host Nation Coordination (HNC) packets and Site Surveys for globally deploying systems.

- Experience with Mat-lab or other programming languages
