Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a skilled and motivated Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) within the Office of the Chief Engineer. This role focuses on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle management—including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide direct operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO (CED) under the Specialty Engineering Director.
Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions, ensuring absolute data accuracy and consistency.
Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) utilizing STEPSTONE and EL-CID programs.
Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests utilizing Spectrum XXI (SXXI) for developmental, fielded, and new systems.
Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases to support operational and engineering activities.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues between developmental and deployed systems.
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.
Develop, update, compile, and submit Host Nation Coordination (HNC) packets and Site Surveys for globally deploying systems.

Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles.
