What You’ll Do
The mission of the FoundationCCC’s Workforce Development Department (WDD) is to help learners achieve better education, economic, and social outcomes by providing partners in education, workforce and economic development, and industry with outstanding technical assistance, research, administrative services, and financial resource development support. WDD recognizes the importance of wrap-around support to promote learner success, provide equitable opportunities, and drive economic mobility. The Fresh Success Specialist advances these efforts as a member of the team leading the Fresh Success CalFresh Employment & Training (E&T) program.
The Fresh Success program brings federal dollars to California to help students and other low-income community members gain the skills and experience they need to become more employable. The FoundationCCC supports E&T providers with tools, templates, training, and ongoing technical assistance to facilitate the start-up process, ease the burden of federal requirements, and ensure program success.
The Specialist is responsible for onboarding, monitoring, and supporting the ongoing success of Fresh Success providers, including community colleges, adult schools, and non-profit community-based organizations.
Strengthens the success of Fresh Success providers (community colleges, adult schools, and community-based organizations) through co-facilitation of onboarding trainings, webinars, and annual in-person convenings, and the provision of ongoing technical assistance for assigned providers.
Reviews quarterly invoices and data submissions from assigned Fresh Success providers, including reviewing costs for allowability, ensuring appropriate documentation, and ensuring a high level of data accuracy.
Performs program reviews and monitoring of assigned Fresh Success providers to ensure compliance with state CalFresh and federal SNAP Employment & Training guidelines and other relevant policies, provide technical assistance, and learn about challenges and promising practices.
Reviews and analyzes reports, data, and supporting documents and prepares recommendations for action.
Supports the design, logistics, and execution of webinars, conference presentations, and meetings to recruit new partners.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$66,000.00 - $71,000.00Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
