Job Posting Description
Holman is currently accepting applications for the role of Senior Specialist – Subrogation.
Principal Purpose of Position:
- Coordinate all aspects of Subrogation cases, including evidence gathering, reviewing accident & police reports, negotiating settlements and filing arbitration when necessary.
- Work with our clients providing subrogation status updates.
- Work with insurance agents to negotiate settlements.
- Send new subrogation demands to insurance companies and/or uninsured third parties.
- File for arbitration on disputed claims.
- Process checks received on existing claims.
- Order police reports and send in accident reports to insurance companies.
- Perform all other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- The Institutes designation in Claims or General Insurance a plus (or the like)
Relevant Work Experience:
- Insurance industry, collections work, or equivalent experience preferred.
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
- Must have complete knowledge of fair claims practices.
- Must be able to determine negligence and understand all state and local negligence laws.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have assertive negotiating skills.

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $25.15 - $36.47 USD per hour.
