Job Description:
As the Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Capital), your primary responsibility is to oversee buying activities across multiple sites and segments within Mars. This involves ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, risk management, and availability while adhering to commercial policies and processes.
Your focus lies in delivering a continuous supply of cost-effective, service-oriented, and timely CAPEX investments, covering various areas such as construction, equipment, machinery, automation, packaging, and processes.
This is a role can be based out of Guararema (São Paulo, Brazil) or Querérato, Mexico.
In this key role, you will work on...Lead sourcing activities for Capital investments, including construction, equipment, machinery, automation, packaging, and processes, ensuring alignment with business commitments and sourcing strategies.
Deliver established savings targets, digital sourcing adoption, optimize the supplier data base and ensure compliance with Commercial policies and processes.
Implement supply base strategy for multiple Mars manufacturing sites.
Contract Management: non-disclosure agreements (NDA's), contract creation, contract extensions, contract renewals and contract terminations.
Support the implementation of global capital strategies and collaborate with category leaders, team members and peers to create synergies and maximize results.
Actively participate in team meetings and establish periodic meetings with key stakeholders in the sites to align on priorities which sits under the Sourcing Excellence team areas of responsibility.
Complete Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline.
Advanced level of English is required, Spanish/Portuguese
4+ years of experience working with Procuremen is required, preferably in Capital or other factory related procurement areas
Contract management knowledge
