About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
As a seasoned Solution Engineer – Data & Agentic Marketing AI at Salesforce, you will serve as a
strategic advisor and deep product expert, partnering with enterprise sales teams to address complex
customer challenges across marketing transformation, data unification, and agentic AI-driven customer
intelligence. You bring a strong background in Martech and AdTech ecosystems — understanding how
brands plan, activate, measure, and optimise marketing across paid and owned channels. You are a
hands-on technologist and a compelling communicator — equally comfortable architecting a Data Cloud
solution, building a live PoC, and presenting to a C-suite audience. With your extensive experience
across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Lakehouse architecture, and Data Management, you will lead high-
impact engagements across Financial Services, Real Estate, Retail & Consumer Goods, EdTech, FinTech,
Telecom, Media, and Technology/GIC sectors.
Responsibilities
• Lead strategic pre-sales engagements for enterprise and strategic accounts, partnering with
Account Executives and Sales Leadership to drive complex, multi-cloud deals
• Architect, build, and deliver hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) — taking full ownership from
scoping through execution and presentation, tailored to customer-specific use cases across data
ingestion, unification, segmentation, real-time activation, and AI-driven personalisation
• Deliver world-class, customised product demonstrations — live, unrehearsed, and deeply
tailored to the customer's industry, data landscape, and business objectives
• Lead executive-level discovery and whiteboarding sessions to uncover business requirements
around marketing strategy, AdTech/Martech stack architecture, customer data management,
and data governance
• Design and present comprehensive solution architectures connecting operational data,
marketing data, paid media signals, and analytical insights via Salesforce Data Cloud and Zero
Copy integrations
• Champion Data Management and Governance best practices — including data quality, master
data management, data stewardship, lineage, and compliance
• Lead complex RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and business value assessments for large
enterprise customers
• Represent Salesforce as a thought leader — at industry events, executive briefings, customer
advisory boards, and community conferences
• Mentor and coach junior SEs, contributing to the broader SE community through enablement,
playbooks, and reusable demo assets
• Stay ahead of the curve on Salesforce Data Cloud, Lakehouse, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud
roadmaps, Martech/AdTech trends, and the competitive landscape
---
Required Qualifications
• 10–12 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or marketing/data technology roles,
with a strong track record in enterprise engagements
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills — ability to engage, influence, and inspire
audiences ranging from developers and data engineers to CMOs and CIOs; able to simplify
complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives
• Strong executive presence — confident, credible, and compelling in front of senior stakeholders,
with the ability to lead whiteboarding sessions, workshops, and large-group presentations with
ease
• Highly hands-on profile — must be able to independently build, configure, and demonstrate
working solutions; not just present slides but get into the platform and make things work
• Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end PoCs — including data modelling, integration
setup, segmentation configuration, and activation — with minimal support
• Strong background in Martech and AdTech technologies, including Marketing automation,
campaign management, and customer journey orchestration and AdTech concepts — cookie
deprecation, identity resolution, clean rooms, contextual targeting, and first-party data
activation
• Deep expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Engagement, Intelligence, Personalisation,
Data Cloud) will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) — identity resolution, profile stitching,
audience segmentation, and real-time activation
• Proven expertise in Data Lakehouse architecture — Delta Lake, zero-copy data sharing,
federated data access, and integration with cloud data platforms
• Strong knowledge of Data Management concepts including data management, ETL, ELT, MDM ,
Data Governance and Data Quality.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade data architectures integrating CRM, CDP, data
warehouse, and marketing execution layers
• Strong experience with data ingestion patterns — batch, streaming, API-based, and event-driven
architectures
• Relevant Salesforce certifications: Marketing Cloud Consultant, Data Cloud Consultant, or
equivalent
• Demonstrated vertical expertise in one or more of: Financial Services | Real Estate | Retail &
Consumer Goods | EdTech | FinTech | Telecom | Media & Entertainment | Technology & GICs
• Deep domain expertise in at least three of the following: Data Cloud/CDP, Marketing
Automation, Agentic AI, Data Management/ETL, Adtech/Martech, or Campaign Orchestration
• Strong understanding of data architectures including data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, and
streaming platforms
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or equivalent enterprise
marketing platforms
• Ability to present complex technical solutions to both C-level executives and technical
practitioners
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing Technology, or equivalent
practical experience
