The Role

Position Summary

Purpose of the job:
The successful applicant is responsible for managing Demand Management data coordination with customer’s order forecast and control release and CIF shipment to each country. Also, responsible for Stock management to avoid having aging stock.
Key Objectives:
Provides report to Head of Department & Sales Managers for all Stock and Payment Status, checked G/R & G/I Status, managing release & CIF Shipment status of each customer, communicate with HQ & Factories and coordinate with departments sales team members. Mainly Coordinating Samsung’s Global Supply Chain management system data with above information and customer’s order forecast.

Role and Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Forecasting from distributors and Sales team
  • Responsible to follow-up with HQ regarding the demand, shipments, RTF & shortages.
  • Allocation and planning of next 3 weeks sales & shipments
  • Follow-up on Purchase orders, SI, sales orders & shipments for all customers.
  • Releases/Inbound/outbound follow up with distributors and company different department (Logistics, Finance)
  • Support to Digital Appliances team by providing, daily/weekly/monthly reports about SCM KPIs.
  • Managing Stock Status & all Shipment for DA Distributors
  • Managing the PO Prices with HQ & Local PMs, at the same time will manage the invoice prices with customers.
  • Response to customers inquiries about shipments schedules, shortages, and curry over orders.
  • Full management of PSI, with weekly update of shipments & clearance from customer side.
  • Highlight any issue or problems that may affect KPI or sales achievements.
  • Support PM for “T Plan” creation, submitting & approval from top management.
  • Daily communication with HQ/Factories to secure sales & get any guidelines or inquiries.
  • Support Sales Team with PSI reports, weekly reports and achieving KPIs

Skills and Qualifications

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related field.
  • Experience in Demand Management.
  • 1 ~ 4 years related experience.
  • The candidate shall be presentable and possess a professional attitude
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Experience in Middle East or African markets preferred
  • Strong quantitative background with an excellent understanding of the issues and processes required to deliver high quality results
  • Adept in all aspects of Supply Chain and Demand Management.

Language Skills:

Arabic: Native

English: Fluent
