In a global management consultancy like Roland Berger, the Finance & Controlling (F&C) function offers exciting challenges. We are currently ramping up our F&C service hub in Kuala Lumpur to support our global operations with unique capabilities.
As a Specialist in Accounting, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring finance accounting activities across our global organization and will act as an interface for our global and local F&C colleagues. The role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles especially from an international group entity understanding.
This role requires first experience in group accounting paired with strong analytical skills, and a results-oriented way of working.
Job Description- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Support the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS for international entities in the Roland Berger Group.
- Work closely with our tax and controlling teams.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Actively participate in special projects within the accounting department.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with a focus on international accounting or proven practical experience in the area of accounting, ideally with (ongoing) further qualifications as a certified accountant.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- Analytical and conceptual working style, strong implementation skills, and a pronounced affinity for numbers.
- Business-fluent English skills.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as experience with ERP software (ideally SAP).
