About the opportunity Lead AI and automation solutions architecture for a US enterprise client on Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Salesforce Agentforce in a high-impact, fractional (80 hrs/month) nearshore role.
About our client Our client specializes in industrial process control and automation technology, helping manufacturers improve performance while valuing strong relationships and top talent.
What you'll do
Lead discovery sessions with business and Technology stakeholders to define process bottlenecks and design clear solution specifications.
Design AI assistants, agents, intelligent workflows, and low-code applications using Microsoft estate and Salesforce Agentforce.
Own feasibility, risk, and value assessments for all prototypes before presenting to client leadership.
Apply and enforce cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, and responsible-AI requirements with production approval gates.
Define test cases, acceptance criteria, and implementation standards while owning the reusable-component library.
Set and track solution adoption targets, reporting monthly using client usage data.
Facilitate user enablement through workshops, office hours, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer to the client’s Tech team.
Collaborate bi-weekly with the Product Owner to manage capacity, triage change requests, and keep the backlog prioritized.
Advise leadership on Microsoft and Salesforce AI roadmaps regarding what to adopt, defer, or ignore.
What you bring (must-haves)
8+ years delivering enterprise technology solutions, with 4+ years in solution architecture, tech lead, or lead consulting roles.
Deep hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), including environment strategy, ALM, and governance at enterprise scale.
Proven experience shipping AI agent/copilot solutions to production in the last 12–18 months using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, or Agentforce.
Integration fluency across Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, SharePoint, Teams, Salesforce, and enterprise ERP systems.
Solid grasp of enterprise Generative AI concepts (grounding LLMs, prompt management, guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows).
Demonstrated ability to facilitate discovery workshops with non-technical business leaders.
C1 or above fluent English (verbal and written) for leading weekly client sessions.
Availability to work part-time (80 hrs/month in Phase 1, 60 hrs/month in Phase 2) with US Central time overlap (9 AM to 3 PM CT, 3 days/week).

Certifications such as Microsoft PL-600, PL-400, AI-102, or Salesforce Agentforce Specialist.
Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, field service, or engineering services.
Hands-on experience with IFS ERP integrations.
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF, state AI laws like Illinois HB 3773).
Prior fractional, part-time, or advisory consulting experience.

Skills Required
