Your Impact
As a Technical Sales Professional, you will own the Cisco brand with customers and partners by delivering technical solutions that address their business needs. You will collaborate closely with the account team and connected sales teams to ensure customer success, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Cisco’s portfolio, including specialized and architectural perspectives. Drive penetration through cross-selling and up-selling while displacing competition. Be responsible for the technical relationship with customers and partners.
  • Lead engagements with IT and business decision-makers, understand customer environments and market dynamics, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Focus on landing opportunities and expanding within accounts. Participate actively in customer strategic planning.
  • Provide valuable feedback to Business Executives and sales teams on strategic customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive tactics.
  • Lead deals through the technical sales process, design and present solutions based on customer requirements, manage virtual sales support teams, and leverage tools to support deals.
  • Increase revenue by converting opportunities to closed deals, displace competitors to grow market share, and expand the customer base quarterly.

  • Lead demand generation and enablement initiatives.
  • Identify latent customer needs and showcase cross-architecture solutions.
  • Lead impactful demonstrations emphasizing business outcomes driven by Cisco solutions.
  • Use competitive intelligence to differentiate Cisco offerings.
  • Mobilize broad stakeholder networks to drive transformative synergies and optimize relationships.
  • Direct virtual and extended sales teams toward continuous improvement and oversee educational programs.
  • Demonstrate agility by adapting strategies in response to market disruptions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) with related experience.
  • Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies and solutions, including SD-WAN, MPLS, LAN, Cloud, Unified Communications (UC), and Security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and services.
  • Expertise in Cisco’s cloud portfolio to design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with network automation tools to streamline deployment, management, and operational efficiency of network and collaboration solutions.
