What You Will Do Daily:
- Aligning with their sales counterpart, the Partner Manager. They review the partner pipeline, discuss any technical roadblocks partners are facing in current deals, and strategize on which partners need focused technical enablement in the coming weeks. This ensures that technical and sales efforts are perfectly in sync.
- Partner Enablement Session This is a core activity. The PSE leads a virtual and in person technical training session for partners. this could include deep dives into the latest product release, new API endpoints and integration best practices. The goal is self-sufficiency: coaching the partner's team on how to deliver effective product demonstrations and handle common technical objections themselves.
- Deal Support & Strategy The PSE works with partner's Solutions Engineer on qualification, and evaluation of Sonar products.. The PSE acts as an "expert resource," helping the partner's SE architect a tailored solution, anticipate complex technical questions, and position the joint value proposition effectively. You aren't leading the customer call, but you are ensuring the partner is perfectly prepared to do so.
- Asset Creation & Focused Work
- Developing Scalable Resources To avoid answering the same questions repeatedly, the PSE dedicates time to creating reusable assets for the entire partner network. This could involve writing a standardized demo script, building a code sample for a common integration, or recording a short video tutorial on a complex feature. This work is crucial for scaling their impact.
- Monitoring Partner Engagement to ensure partners are staying on top their learning it may be necessary to manage and evalngelise certification and badging programmes.
- Strategic Initiatives & Internal Feedback
- Joint Solution Design with a Technology Partner The PSE meets with engineers from a technology partner company to architect a new integration. This is a highly strategic and technical discussion requiring a deep understanding both products, defining the scope of the integration, and building a business case for why it will create shared value. This involves mapping the partner's value chain and identifying growth opportunities.
- Internal Feedback Loop with Product Management The PSE acts as the voice of the partner ecosystem to the internal product team. They consolidate feedback gathered from several partners about a missing feature that is creating friction in their sales cycles. They present this feedback with specific use cases, helping the product manager understand the business impact and prioritize the request on the roadmap.
- Planning & Follow-up Documenting action items from meetings, sending follow-up resources to the partners they have trained and maintaining the Partner Enablement Plan

What We Do
Sonar provides the essential verification layer for the AI-driven development era, ensuring all code—whether human-written or AI-generated—is code you can trust.
Today, AI coding tools are generating explosive volumes of code. This has created an "engineering productivity paradox" : faster code writing doesn't automatically lead to faster, safer software delivery. The new bottleneck is verification.
Sonar solves this. Our industry-leading platform, SonarQube, integrates code quality and code security analysis directly into the development workflow by automating reviews and providing actionable code intelligence for all code—first-party, AI-generated, third-party open source. \
For organizations, Sonar provides the critical SDLC governance and compliance reporting needed to de-risk AI adoption and manage standards at scale. We empower teams to "vibe, then verify" — innovating at the speed of AI without sacrificing the quality, security, or maintainability of their codebase.
We are driven by a deep belief in our people, a commitment to excellence, and an unwavering dedication to delivery. We operate as a united group where our collective success is the sum of each individual's contributions. Our company culture is driven by the values of CODE: Committed, Obsessed, Deliberate & Effective. This mindset reflects our culture of creativity, collaboration, and pride in the work we do.
Rooted in the open source community, Sonar’s solutions support over 35 programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure technologies. Today, Sonar is used by 7M+ developers and 400K organizations worldwide, including Barclays, MasterCard, and T-Mobile.
Sonar is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland with additional offices in Austin, Texas; Annecy, France; Bochum, Germany; London, England; and Singapore. The company is rapidly growing with over 750 employees!
Join us in our mission to solve the trillion-dollar challenge of bad code!
