As a Solutions Engineer, AI & Cloud Infrastructure, you will work with customers, partners and Cisco sales teams to solve complex business and technical challenges. The role combines customer engagement, solution architecture, hands-on demonstrations and technical leadership to accelerate AI adoption and deliver measurable outcomes. Working closely with product specialists and engineering teams, you will help customers translate AI ambitions into scalable, secure and deployable solutions.
Your Impact
As a trusted technical advisor, you will help customers evaluate, design, and adopt AI solutions across a wide range of industries.
You will:
- Partner with customers to understand business priorities and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and demonstrate AI, cloud, networking, and infrastructure architectures that deliver measurable value.
- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and technical evaluations.
- Collaborate with sales teams, partners, specialists, and product engineering teams to drive successful customer outcomes.
- Showcase Cisco's AI strategy and technology portfolio through compelling demonstrations and business-focused conversations.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, pre-sales, solution architecture, or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience developing and presenting technology solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and modern AI application architectures.
- Experience designing enterprise technology solutions and deployment architectures.
- Strong Python or scripting experience.
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, including GPU platforms, networking, storage, cloud services, or container technologies.
- Strong presentation, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience with AI infrastructure technologies, including GPU accelerators, high-performance networking, and scale-out storage.
- Experience with AI inference and model-serving technologies such as NVIDIA NIM, Triton Inference Server, TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, or similar.
- Knowledge of transformer-based language models, multimodal AI architectures, and modern GenAI frameworks.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jupyter, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, or related platforms.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, containerization, MLOps, and production AI operations.
