About the role
We are seeking a highly effective Solution Consultant at Cirium can play a critical role in driving sales and delivering customer value aligned with the commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Pre-sales Consulting and Customer Engagement: Partner with Sales to qualify and progress opportunities through customer discovery, solution qualification, demonstrations, workshops, business cases, and technical validation activities throughout the sales cycle. Provide technical expertise across proposals, RFP/RFQ processes, and customer engagements while representing Cirium through executive briefings, industry events, webinars, and thought leadership activities.
- Training and Capability Development: Design and develop training materials, certification frameworks, industry playbooks, processes, and documentation that strengthen Sales teams' understanding of Cirium's products, data, and industry use cases. Deliver Industry 101 training, product certification, and use-case-based learning programmes that enable Sales teams to effectively position Cirium's solutions and communicate customer value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Feedback: Collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to communicate customer feedback, market insights, and emerging use cases that contribute to product development, solution positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Partner with Product, Marketing, and commercial leadership to develop customer-facing narratives and strengthen the organisation's ability to engage customers and support complex sales opportunities.
- Technical Account Management: Establishes technical credibility and develops higher, deeper, wider technical relationships with key enterprise accounts. Partners with sales to provide world class technical account management and provides solution expertise to maximise value of Cirium’s products, data and capabilities to our clients.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Aviation Commercial Experience: Experience in aviation disciplines such as network planning, revenue management, strategy, or consulting. Serves as a trusted advisor on market trends and industry developments.
- Analytical Expertise: Evaluates market opportunities, develops business cases, and converts data into commercial insights. Demonstrates how Cirium’s data and analytics address business challenges and support decision-making.
- Technical Capability: Experienced with datasets, analytical tools, and BI platforms such as Tableau. Interprets and communicates analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Quickly learns new products, technologies, and data assets. SQL experience is an advantage.
- Executive Communication: Confident presenting to audiences from analysts to C-suite executives. Delivers presentations, demonstrations, workshops, executive briefings, webinars, and industry speaking engagements.
- Thought Leadership: Contributes to workshops, events, conferences, webinars, and market insights. Helps stakeholders understand industry trends and leverage data and analytics to improve performance.
- Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Understands customer objectives, constraints, and success metrics, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Business Acumen: Applies sound commercial judgment to assess opportunities, understand purchasing drivers, quantify business impact, and articulate value.
- Emotional Intelligence: Builds strong relationships through active listening, adaptability, and responsiveness to customer needs. Collaborates effectively across teams and thrives in a fast-paced, global environment with travel as required.
