What we’re looking for
The Solutions Consulting Team supports clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle and reports to the manager of Sales Engineering. As a Sales Solutions Consultant, you will provide pre-sales technical, functional, and strategic support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. In addition to supporting the sales team in pre-sales conversations, you will collaborate across the organization, including with product, marketing, legal, and security.
What you’ll be working on
- Support our prospective clients and Account Executives throughout the sales cycle by translating features into value drivers for their business.
- Provide functional and technical expertise in the pre-sales phase, including knowledge of SurveyMonkey’s platform, APIs, Mobile SDKs, and additional solutions.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and custom Security Reviews.
- Be a customer advocate internally while working with other teams including Product, support, engineering, and sales.
- Provide training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities.
- Develop a working knowledge of the competitive landscape and become an expert in the CX space.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 3+ years experience as a Sales Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent role with a focus on SaaS.
- A curious and inquisitive mind with an interest in exploring and self-teaching new programs and integrations.
- Comfortable presenting to a variety of customers (even on executive level).
- A technical background with experience working with APIs.
- Experience delivering SaaS demonstrations and writing technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
- Ability to communicate written and orally in English at the B2+ level.
- HTML, CSS, and some Javascript knowledge is preferred.

As such, this opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Heredia 1 day per week.
