Cloudera is looking for a customer focused Data Science Architect to join the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META) Professional Services team as a Solutions Architect and drive adoption of Cloudera’s next-generation AI and machine learning platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering a solution that not only accelerates machine learning & AI from exploration to production but also enables enterprises to create & deploy Generative AI applications using foundation models with enterprise data at scale. As a Solutions Architect you will:

• As a Solutions Architect within Cloudera’s Professional Services, you can expect to work with some of the Middle East’s and Africa’s most exciting private and public sector organisations.
• Our customer engagements range from simple installations of our Hadoop based data platform CDP, to large scale use case deployments.
• In this role, you will be working closely with enterprise adopters of Generative AI on Cloudera Machine Learning to deploy the leading platform for machine learning & AI.
• You will drive the design and implementation of elegant, scalable, enterprise-quality AI use cases powered by machine learning models.

We're excited about you if you have:

• Experience with building machine learning models and adapting foundation models that power AI applications using data science and machine learning tools (Python, Tensorflow, Spark, mlflow, R, etc.).
• Experience with foundation models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, semantic search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, etc.
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, Guidance, NeMo etc.).
• Experience building and deploying Generative AI applications.
• Experience building scalable, robust and secure Enterprise applications.
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

You might also have... ​

• Working knowledge of setting up and running Hadoop clusters
• Knowledge on how to create and debug Hadoop jobs
• Consulting background and/or comfort in working directly with customers
• Demonstrated experience gathering and understanding customer
  business requirements
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of distributed systems, complex data pipeline, ETL and
  common ETL packages / libraries
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Arabic
