Job DescriptionThe architect will be responsible for linking the business mission, strategy, and processes of the bank to the IT strategy; documents and monitors this using multiple architectural models, views and methods that show how the bank’s current and future needs will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner
Ensure new systems adhere to architecture principles and golden rules and Define, analyze, and review architecture and technical requirements
Assessing the requirements and presenting architectural recommendations that are in line with the strategic vision for the bank and complies with wider best practice.
Draft architectural, technical designs, and other systems integration related documents for projects and work requests.
Participate in the governance arrangements set up to ensure that the system architecture delivers the desired benefits to the bank.
Researching, evaluating, and recommending systems/equipment/technologies to deliver business needs.
Involve and recommend enterprise’s server hardware, operating system for the Enterprise Application
Define Architecture Requirements, through Identifying technology components or patterns require, Mapping technology component requirements to approved standards
Performing GAP Analysis to existing environments and creating a GAP Analysis Report. Including driving the resolution of escalated gaps through action plans and discussing the report with the necessary stakeholders
- BSc Computer Science or related field
- Professional certification such as TOGAF Certified Architect, CISSP Architecture, AWS certified solutions Architect, Azure certified solutions architect, Project management Professional (PMP) can ne an added advantage.
Experience
- 5-7 years Experience in multiple IT disciples e.g. Dev Hardware, analysis, design, service management, architecture.
- Good understanding of Agile working practices and LEAN and SCRUM proficiency and working collaboratively across teams. Experience gained in the management of platforms and operating systems.
- Experience in designing innovative solutions within technology businesses such as Authentication Systems, System, Platform, and Account Migrations, Enterprise Solution Architecture (ESA), Business Architecture, Information Architecture, Application Architecture or Technology Architecture with a balanced mix of skills covering technologies and industry knowledge
