About Sign3

Sign3 is an AI-first customer intelligence platform powering fraud prevention, risk scoring, and  smarter onboarding decisions for leading FinTechs, banks, and digital businesses. Our flagship SDK and APIs analyze device, behavioural, and digital footprint signals to help clients detect synthetic identities, money mule accounts, and other fraud vectors—in real time. We work with top-tier players across credit cards, lending, gaming, and neo-banking, helping them unlock trusted growth at scale. Our systems process millions of risk events per day, with millisecondlevel performance and precision. At Sign3, you’ll get to build in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment alongside a lean, highownership team.

Role Summary

The Solutions Architect is the technical owner of a client engagement from the first sales meeting  through solution sign-off. You will translate a client’s fraud and risk requirements into a designed solution that marries Sign3’s products with the customizations a given bank or FinTech needs, and you will drive that design through our internal product, data, and engineering teams. This is a high impact, client-facing, cross-functional role requiring strong technical design skills, fluency in the BFSI fraud domain, and the ability to speak credibly to both a bank’s CISO and your own backend engineers.

Key Responsibilities

A. Discovery & requirement shaping
  • Lead detailed technical discovery after the initial sales meeting to uncover the client’s true needs, fraud typologies, risk drivers, dependencies, and constraints.
  • Probe beyond the stated ask to identify the real problem, integration realities, and what "success” looks like for the client.
B. Solution design
  • Map client requirements against Sign3’s product suite and define where standard products fit and where customization is required.
  • Produce a clear customization/requirement specification and an end-to-end solution architecture covering data flows, integration patterns, deployment model (SaaS / on-prem /dedicated tenancy), latency, scalability, security, and SLA expectations
  • Design for the deployment constraints typical of Indian banks — on-premise and dedicatedtenancy environments, multi-AZ availability, and bank-grade security postures.
C. Cross-functional orchestration
  • Work hand-in-glove with product, data, and engineering teams to validate feasibility, scope customizations, and size effort/cost before commitments are made to the client.
  • Act as the translation layer between commercial intent and technical reality, ensuring what is sold can be built.
D. Pre-sales support & technical win
  • Deliver technical presentations, tailored demos, scoping sessions, and proof-of-concept design.
  • Own responses to RFIs/RFPs and partner with the client’s InfoSec teams to complete security questionnaires and compliance reviews (including RBI-framework and DPDP-related requirements).
  • Provide guidance on how Sign3 signals integrate into the client’s broader risk-decisioning stack.

Required Qualifications
  • 7–12 years in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting, ideally with portion in a dedicated solutions/architect role.
  • Demonstrated experience designing enterprise solutions in fraud detection, risk management, fraud risk, identity, payments, or BFSI technology.
  • Strong grasp of API design, integration patterns, message brokers (e.g., Kafka), distributed systems, and designing for high availability, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ability to interface credibly with both C-level/business stakeholders and engineering teams; excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-growing, startup environment.

Preferred / Bonus
  • Direct exposure to the Indian banking/NBFC/FinTech ecosystem and large-bank procurement processes.
  • Familiarity with behavioural biometrics, device intelligence, or ML/AI model integration and data pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of the RBI regulatory landscape (EWS, fraud risk management directions, IT outsourcing) and DPDP Act implications.
  • Cloud certification (AWS / Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with on-premise and dedicated-tenancy enterprise deployments.
