Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cisco Presales Engineer to support our partners and sales teams in designing, positioning, and delivering Cisco-based solutions. The role involves deep technical expertise, solution architecture, and close collaboration with sales, partners, and Cisco teams to drive business growth
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate Cisco solutions
Provide presales technical support including solution design, BoM creation, and proposal documentation
Deliver technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to partners and customers
Support partner enablement through training sessions and workshops on Cisco technologies
Engage with Cisco account teams for deal registrations, pricing, and solution validation
Assist in RFP/RFI responses and ensure timely submission with accurate technical details
Stay updated on Cisco product portfolio, including networking, security, collaboration, and data center solutions
Work with internal teams for order configuration, licensing, and solution compliance
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies (Routing & Switching, Security, Wireless, Collaboration, Data Center)
Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills
Ability to design scalable and cost-effective solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Certifications
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Cisco Specialist certifications (Security / Collaboration / Data Center – added advantage)
Experience
3–8 years of experience in presales / network engineering / solution architecture
Experience working with system integrators, distributors, or OEMs preferred
Prior experience with Cisco product portfolio is mandatory
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics / Telecommunications / IT / Computer Science) or equivalent
