- Partner with Sales as a technical expert to define customer needs and develop value-driven automation solutions.
- Analyze and interpret customer requirements to design tailored intralogistics concepts that align with operational and strategic goals.
- Develop technically and economically feasible solutions, leveraging KION and third-party technologies to achieve the best possible customer outcome.
- Prepare and validate business cases, including technical design, cost estimation, and timeline assessment.
- Engage directly with customers, representing the technical solution with clarity and confidence during presentations and discussions.
- Collaborate across interfaces - Sales, Realization, Product Management, Service, and R&D teams - to ensure alignment and smooth handovers.
- Contribute to standardization and best practices, improving design quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Provide feedback and market insights to strengthen KION’s solution portfolio and support continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, balancing technical depth and commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to work closely with customers and Sales in a solution-oriented and consultative way.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex concepts into clear value propositions.
- Customer-focused, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset, with strong ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency with solution design and simulation tools is an advantage.
