About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Charging Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Ericsson Charging (EC) solutions for global and Indian telecom customers. The role demands deep technical expertise, hands-on architectural leadership, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will own solution design governance and ensure that customer requirements are translated into robust, scalable, and future-ready charging architectures aligned with Ericsson standards and best practices.
What you will do:
• Architect, design, and govern Ericsson Charging (EC) solutions across multiple customer engagements.• Own and drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) in alignment with Ericsson architecture standards.• Provide technical leadership to build, integration, and validation teams to ensure high-quality delivery.• Engage with customer stakeholders to translate business and monetization requirements into scalable technical solutions.• Lead architecture reviews, design validations, and governance forums.• Support deployment, migration, and upgrade activities for Ericsson Charging systems.• Drive adoption of cloud-native, containerized, and DevOps-driven architectures.• Perform system integration, feature configuration, and solution customization when required.• Drive end-to-end delivery activities including:
o Installation, Configuration, Upgrade and Migration
o Verification and customer acceptance• Analyse customer requirements and convert them into clear technical implementation strategies.
The skills you bring:
• Deep expertise in Ericsson Charging System (EC) architecture and solution design.• Strong experience in system integration and end-to-end solution delivery.• Proficiency in:
o Linux, Python and Shell scripting and DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices• Hands-on experience with:
o Kubernetes and Docker and Container-based and cloud-native deployments• Database experience:
o Oracle TimesTen and Cassandra• Strong understanding of 4G/5G charging architecture.• Experience with 5G Core and 5G Charging functions.• Knowledge of 5G Service-Based Architecture (SBA).• Working knowledge of telecom signalling and protocols including SS7, Diameter and 5G-related protocols.• Experience working in Agile delivery models.• Strong documentation skills for HLD, LLD, and architectural diagrams.• Ability to work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams.• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.• Strong alignment with Ericsson values and ways of working.• Strong experience as a Solution Architect in charging and monetization programs.• Exposure to Ericsson Charging EC 22.x is an added advantage.
