Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong Retail industry experience to design and deliver scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions for retail businesses. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, project managers, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective solution architectures..
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with retail business requirements and enterprise architecture.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and technology challenges.
- Define solution architecture, technical standards, integration patterns, and technology roadmaps.
- Design solutions across eCommerce, POS, CRM, ERP, OMS, WMS, PIM, payment systems, and digital platforms.
- Lead integration architecture across APIs, middleware, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.
- Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution designs, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Technical Leads, and vendors.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the implementation and resolve architectural issues.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend appropriate solutions for retail transformation initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, data protection, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
Required Skill & Qualification:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the Retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail business processes such as:
- Store operations
- Point of Sale (POS)
- eCommerce
- Order Management
- Inventory and supply chain
- Product and customer management
- Payments
- Loyalty
- Experience designing complex end-to-end retail solutions.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, eCommerce, POS and integration technologies.
- Experience with API, REST, microservices, middleware and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, security, scalability, and performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
