The PositionDescription of the Area
The BI Web Solution Architect serves as the leading technical authority for the web ecosystem, driving architecture strategy across multiple digital products and platforms. The role operates across the full Agile Release Train using SAFe/Scrum methodologies and partners closely with web development, analytics, website rollout, communications, and documentation teams.
The architect is responsible for defining the technical roadmap, creating architectural enablers, and ensuring scalable, future-ready web solutions across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and the broader Adobe digital marketing stack.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Leadership
Own the end-to-end solution architecture across the web application landscape, covering approximately 10 web applications and 4-5 AEM environments.
Act as the highest technical authority within the web solution domain.
Drive the architecture vision, roadmap, and strategic technology direction across the release train.
Create and manage architectural enablers that support delivery teams and product objectives.
Lead technical discussions and design reviews with integrated cross-functional teams.
Solution Design & Governance
Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation including:
o Solution Architecture Documents
o Solution Diagrams
o Process Maps
o Logical Architecture Models
o Data Architecture Models
o Taxonomy and Information Architecture Designs
Define and govern reference architectures, patterns, integrations, NFRs, and architecture decision records (ADRs).
Ensure architecture alignment with enterprise standards and digital platform strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Present technology roadmaps, solution designs, and architectural enablers to technical and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with solution architects responsible for adjacent digital capabilities such as identity management, consent management, CDP, CRM, marketing automation, social media, and email platforms.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring across development and delivery teams.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Required Skills
Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and implementation.
Hands-on experience with modern AEM deployments, including:
o AEM Managed Services
o AEM as a Cloud Service
o Flexible and Cloud-Native AEM environments
Strong understanding of enterprise web architecture and content management platforms.
Adobe Ecosystem Experience
Experience with the following Adobe technologies is highly preferred:

Flexibility Notes
Candidates with experience on older AEM versions are welcome if they demonstrate the ability and willingness to transition to current cloud-native AEM environments.
Industry background is flexible; pharmaceutical or compliance-heavy environments are advantageous but not required.
Taxonomy and ontology expertise should be considered desirable rather than mandatory.
