About this opportunity:
This position is in the Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions (SA CNS) in Ericsson. The SCU is a global service delivery expertise group located in a few countries. You will be working as a Solution Architect, focusing on the latest technology (i.e., 5G-A, ML/AI, Cloud-RAN) to help our network shine. You will be involved in projects with many diverse customers around the world. In this role, you will be an expert and a go-to person in the field of Network Design and Optimization.
What you will do:
- Deliver services and provide presales support in Network Design and Optimization (NDO).
- Develop and improve offerings for services, software, and products.
- Consult technical staff and senior management in customer organizations to understand their requirements.
- Develop complex end-to-end solutions to meet operators' technical and business requirements.
- Implement customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost, manage expectations, and obtain acceptance.
- Share knowledge within Ericsson and with customers.
The skills you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in radio access network design and optimization.
- Recognized as a top technical expert in their area of expertise within their company.
- Deep technical knowledge in RAN and deep data analytics, including the use of statistical tools and methodologies to analyze and correlate network data.
- NDO expertise in areas including 4G, 5G NSA/SA, VoLTE/VoNR, MBB/FWA, RAN Sharing/MOCN, Differentiated Connectivity, ML/AI applied to NDO services, and Cloud-RAN
- Competence in end-to-end services covering devices, RAN, Transport and Packet Core domains.
- Understanding customers' business objectives and linking them to improvements in Network Performance.
- Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team in complex and demanding engagements.
- Innovative and self-motivated, able to work under pressure and learn independently.
- Result oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Capacity to be able to travel globally as per business requirements.
