Solution Architect - Advanced Computing

As a Solution Engineer – SDI (Software Defined Infrastructure) you will be a key contributor in the pre-sale process where you will act as the technical lead for our regional sales team, assist in evaluating a potential customer's needs, and develop and finalize a solution from concept to implementation. You will have the opportunity to work with our master architects, engineers, and consultants, to understand our clients’ needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps to achieve overall customer objective.

The technologies would cover the following minimum areas:

• Server Virtualization

• Desktop Virtualization

• Hyper convergence (HCI) and Software defined Storage

• Backup

• DC – DR Solutions

• Active Directory

• Public Cloud Services (AWS/Azure/GCP etc)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and credibility to an account team on designated focus area(s)

• Conduct customer presentations on Power Bridge’s value proposition and technical solution

set for assigned accounts and focus areas.

• Assist sales account managers with overall account planning as it relates to technical aspects

of hardware, software, and services opportunity development

• Assist sales account managers with project management for complex presales engagements

• Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses for assigned accounts

• Assist account teams with collecting customer business and technical requirements and

determining Power Bridge’s recommended solution(s)

• Develop solution architecture and proposal and/or presentation of recommended solution

• Function as a liaison to customer technical staff regarding solution and implementation

specifics

• Function as a liaison between the sales team and professional services organization to vet

solution recommendations and to complete technical portions of the SOW, as appropriate

• Function as technical liaison and Power Bridge’s ambassador with field OEM sales and

technical teams

• Assist Power Bridge’s sales teams in dealing with customer satisfaction issues surrounding

technical aspects of a recommended solution or its implementation and deployment

• Assist in developing customer ‘get well’ plans, as needed

• Assist sales and services management in identifying candidate solution areas for Power

Bridge’s development/investment

• Planning and designing solutions for multi-vendor Data Center Solutions

• Meet with key vendors to stay current on products and technologies

• Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science, information technology or engineering. Additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.

• 5+ years of Proven experience in the skillset mentioned, preferably in a system-integrated company or IT services provider.

• Professional certifications like VCP, MCSE, ITIL etc are preferred

• Good communication skills

• The customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

• Willingness to travel (Domestic)
