Job Description
This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining software for products in Hexagon Safety Infrastructure. This position will work on our electric power distribution outage management system. Will work in a high-performance agile/scrum team of mixed disciplines. Will participate in design and development discussions, create software according to requirements, implement automated testing methods and diagnose failures, assist in review of documentation to verify correctness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge in OMS (outage management system) and/or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Proficient in C++/VC++, C#, PL/SQL, Oracle.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
- Experience with relational database concepts and SQL is prefered.
- Experience using SVN version control system is desirable.
- Knowledge in GIS domain is desirable.
- Knowledge in DMS (Distribution Management System) domain is desirable.
