The Project Engineer I is responsible for planning and executing technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards. Duties include managing resources, troubleshooting, and coordinating with stakeholders for project success.

Provide technical support and services for Hexagon Mining's MinePlan software worldwide. Troubleshoot issues, manage cases to resolution or escalation, deliver client training and project assistance, create documentation and self-service materials, assist product development with defect reporting and testing, participate in on-call support, and travel to client sites as needed.

Define and drive the global product strategy and multi‑year roadmap for Machine Guidance. Build value propositions and business cases, prioritize capital investment, engage customers and partners, lead product specialists, collaborate with engineering and commercial teams, and manage lifecycle and performance metrics to deliver operational and financial value for mining precision solutions.

Plan, coordinate and execute deployment of complex mining systems. Provide hands-on installation, configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and maintenance of software and databases. Manage project risks, report status, support customers and sales, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Plan, coordinate and execute deployment of complex mining systems. Deliver and customize software, maintain Linux/Unix environments and relational databases (Postgres, SQLite, SQL Server), implement scripting-based customizations, troubleshoot and install onsite, escalate and report issues, and support pre-sales and customer relationships. Travel to client sites required.

Prepare engineering designs, produce detailed CAD drawings and documentation, verify drawings to specifications, develop design concepts, create electronic layouts and material lists, work with ERP, support field implementations, and ensure documentation meets industry standards.

Lead global hardware reliability and support for mining hardware: liaise between product development and regional repair teams, provide Tier 2 technical/deployment support, deliver regional training, validate and document technical procedures, and feed operational learnings into product and process improvements to increase reliability and supportability.

Own and continuously improve the ISO 27001-aligned ISMS, manage control frameworks, audits, remediation, and risk treatment. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, maintain certification readiness, produce compliance reporting, and support incident response and supplier assurance.

Manage and grow existing mining clients within a territory, act as primary client contact, drive renewals and upsells, coordinate support and service, prepare reports/forecasts, present solutions, and collaborate with sales, service, and finance teams to meet client satisfaction and business targets.

Provide onsite FIFO (2/2) technical support, implementation, competency training, and proactive system oversight for Hexagon's Integrated Machine System and underground mining products. Partner with clients and internal teams to scope, test, launch features, maintain documentation, perform QA/QC, and recommend improvements while delivering customer-focused technical guidance.

Provide high-value technical support and troubleshooting for MineSight mine-planning software at client sites, resolve and escalate issues, participate in on-call support, produce documentation and training materials, collaborate with product development and sales, and travel domestically and internationally to deliver services.
