The Role
Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesOVERVIEW/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for mainly manual testing using best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform Functional test, Regression test, Unit test, Performance test and Load test for API, Web application, Database, Web services.
  • Maintain the health of the QA, UAT, Training and Demo environment.
  • Assure the release process is tightly managed during SDLC cycle.
  • Analyze and Inspect business and functional requirements documents and use cases.
  • Work effectively with business team, Application support team, and other groups.
  • Capture, analyze and own defects through resolution.
  • Complete testing effort within timelines and budgets identified by the team.
  • Conduct peer reviews of test plans, test procedures, and test scripts.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Experience in planning, documenting, and reviewing test cases/suites.
  • Demonstrate functionality, train team members and communicate with Clients.

  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  4. Excellent documentation skills
  5. Ability to manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
  6. Ability to interact politely, tactfully and firmly with a wide range of people and personalities.
  7. Ability to work in an environment with potential interruptions.
  8. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks with individual timeframes and priorities.
