Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Private Wealth Portfolio Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Provide client services to internal and external ultra-high net worth customers in account management, operations, documentation, issue resolution, and technical support
- Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, and are related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables with narrow impact within Private Wealth Portfolio Management functional area
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgement within defined parameters while developing understanding Private Wealth Portfolio Management functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide information to Private Wealth Portfolio Management managers, colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers
- Provide service to existing clients and perform tasks that are clerical and administrative in nature
- 6+ months of Private Wealth Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Wealth Investment Strategy Products, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, education.
- Assists Portfolio/Investment Manager in business development and supports through sales/marketing while leveraging partnership opportunities throughout the firm.
- Supports Portfolio/Investment Manager in the development and delivery of advice, client acquisition, and relationship management of high-net worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net worth (UHNW) clients of Private Wealth Portfolio Management, exercising a strong risk management mindset and ensures that all appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risk.
- Supports the Portfolio/Investment Manager by interfacing with WIM Relationship Managers and/or their associates as facilitator/liaison for seamless delivery of investment services and solutions. Builds partnerships with other line of business associates to foster teamwork.
- Interacts with clients, prepares client correspondence and investment research reports, and schedules client reviews.
- Assists with new client onboarding, coordinating activities with business line partners and service teams to provide a smooth and seamless client experience.
- Schedules clients meeting for investment professionals and tracks follow-up of action items.
- Performs investment research, keeps informed of developments in investment management industry and resolve account problems. Coordination with external advisors to provide information.
- Provides ongoing service in alignment with the needs of clients by preparing client presentations/investment reviews and gathers and researches prospect information to support sales/marketing efforts and relationship management.
- Coordinates and drives fulfillment of investment transactions, including investment trades and alternative investment subscriptions and redemptions, securing compliance documentation, updating and recording client events, maintaining files within policies and guidelines, and resolving operational issues.
- Reviews risk management reports related to key risk indicators. Identifies, escalates and monitors client retention issues.
- Applies investment acumen and continues building knowledge of investment, fiduciary, capital markets, estate planning structures, asset diversification, and assists in portfolio and trust deconstructions to support the investment team.
- May provide administrative support such as phone coverage, travel planning, expense reports, etc.
- Amenable to work on a night shift schedule and on an onsite work arrangement (Five NEO, Taguig)
