Meet the Team 

The Cisco Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi.

Your Impact 

As a Senior Technical Lead, you will define and drive the long-term technical direction for wireless radio software across Cisco’s access point portfolio. You will influence architecture, guide multiple teams, and ensure delivery of high-performance, scalable wireless systems

  • Define strategy and architecture for radio firmware and driver systems across platforms
  • Drive alignment across multiple teams (platform, feature, QA, hardware, vendors)
  • Lead design of next-generation Wi-Fi features and capabilities
  • Influence chipset vendor direction and ecosystem integration
  • Guide resolution of critical, system-wide wireless issues
  • Establish best practices for radio software development and system design
  • Drive AI-native engineering practices and development workflows across teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE/BTech with 12+ years of experience or ME/MTech with 10+ years of experience in wireless systems and software
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in 802.11, radio firmware, and system architecture
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale wireless systems
  • Strong leadership in cross-functional and cross-organization environments
  • Ability to define long-term technical direction and influence stakeholders
  • Strong system-level thinking across hardware, firmware, and software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant experience with upstream driver development
  • Deep collaboration experience with chipset vendors
  • Expertise in performance optimization and large-scale deployments
