Software Engineering Specialist

Job Description SummaryAs a Software Engineering Specialist, You'll be Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of GenAI, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.
You will work independently at the same time collaborate with all other roles within the teams to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs.

Job Description

 In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions

• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques

• Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice

• Provide technical expertise in areas of design, and implementation.

• Demonstrate awareness of industry trends and domain expertise

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Technical Expertise

• AWS Expert, certification preferred

• Excellent knowledge of Design Patterns, Java programming language and Unit Testing frameworks

• Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data) and Spring boot

• Expert on Kafka and/or related messaging/ frameworks, ActiveMQ

• Hands-on experience in web services (REST), EJBs

• SQL, Hibernate on Database such as Oracle MySQL, PostgreSQL

• Experience with Containers - Docker/Kubernetes, Helm

• Experience with Python is a big plus
