About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of software engineers. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling solutions for thousands of users. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute technically while fostering collaboration and growth within your team. The ideal candidate is a validated leader with a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across time zones

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

• Collaborate effectively with teams in the US and Dublin.

• Drive successful project delivery through effective planning, prioritization, and resource management.

• Champion best practices in software development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

• Identify and mitigate project risks.

• Promote innovation and process improvements.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex software projects.

• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Linux, Java, ReactJS, cloud platforms (AWS & GCP), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

• Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be a great partner across time zones and cultures.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.

Other Qualifications

• Experience in managing distributed teams and working in a global setup.

• Expertise in driving cross-cultural team collaboration and conflict resolution.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slack for project management and communication.

• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• A strong drive for success and a proactive approach to personal growth, with a commitment to continuous learning.
