Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RAG-based (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) AI systems using Python and Azure AI services
- Build scalable backend services using FastAPI, Flask, and Quart with modular design principles
- Develop interactive user interfaces using React, npm, and Next.js
- Implement and optimize AI workflows leveraging Azure OpenAI (LLMs), Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Accounts, and other Azure-native components
- Design and build AI agents, including autonomous task agents, tool-integrated agents, and LLM-based function-calling architectures
- Write clean, maintainable Python code for data ingestion pipelines, embedding generation, prompt orchestration, vector interactions, and retrieval logic
- Participate in architecture discussions to build fault-tolerant, production-grade systems
- Contribute to best practices in observability, performance, scalability, and CI/CD
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and cloud engineering teams to deliver features
- Contribute to Java-based services built using Spring Boot within the broader platform ecosystem

- Builder Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making
Required Qualifications:
- Solid proficiency in Python and extensive experience in Generative AI (GenAI)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, including Azure OpenAI (LLMs, embeddings), Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure App Services or Functions
- Experience working with autonomous agent frameworks and agentic workflows
- Solid understanding of AI/LLM concepts such as tokenization, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, prompt chaining, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Knowledge of model optimization techniques including fine-tuning vs prompt-based approaches, context handling, grounding, and hallucination mitigation
- Familiarity with knowledge distillation, evaluation metrics, LLM function calling, and tool integration
- Understanding of MLOps and AI engineering practices including data ingestion pipelines, embedding generation and indexing, performance monitoring, caching strategies, and latency optimization
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
