Position Overview
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be a crucial member of the ServiceNow team, performing hands-on support for end-users, day-to-day maintenance, planning, and testing system upgrades, coaching other team members on best practices, as well as troubleshooting advanced custom applications. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will work with architects, developers, and other product members in the fulfillment of updates, fixes, and new features within our key applications, including ITSM, ITOM, IRM, ITBM, CSM, CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.

Contribute to roadmap and strategy presentations that align to organizational goals and resources.Participate in the full SDLC Requirements Gathering, Analysis, design, and coding, testing, training, and operational support using agile methodologiesWork with process owners and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements within ServiceNow and proposing solution and design suggestionsDesigning solutions to enhance IT service requests in Service Request Management module by developing JavaScript programs and workflows.Timely support of any implementation and performance issues reported on ServiceNow platformConfiguration of Email Notifications and Alerts to notify users about specific activities in the systemDevelop User Interfaces - Configure and maintain Forms, Lists, Views, UI Policy, UI Scripts, UI Actions, View Rules, Welcome Page Content, Map Pages, and other UI elements for ServiceNow modules.Perform environmental promotional activities from Dev to Stage and Test.Designed various custom ServiceNow reports for enhancing higher level management for monitoring the performance of various support teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
SME in ServiceNow system applications and custom applications.Create, maintain, and enhance Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Self-Service PortalsCreate and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting.Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in Flow Designer. Build and maintain automated workflows using Flow DesignerOptimize and troubleshoot existing workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability. Experience designing, building and maintaining integration using Integration Hub, REST, SOAP web servicesExperience in Email notifications.Responsible for standard configuration, user administration, security, workflow, data management and integrations.Activate a plug-in, build reports, gauges, and homepagesSet up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor SLA workflowsAiding in translating business requirements into technical requirementsExperience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Required Experience & Education:
Overall 8-11 years of experience requiredSME in ServiceNow system applications and custom applications.Bachelors degree with Minimum 8 years of ServiceNow platform experience ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator - MandatoryServiceNow Certified Application DeveloperServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (preferred)ITIL4 Certified
