Position Overview
We're searching for a Software Script Engineer to join our IVANS team in Bengaluru location. To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You'll Do
- Writes and creates software applications. Collaborate with the development team to design and build software applications.
- Performs analysis of requirements, creates technical specification documents, writes, examines, and rectifies code. Suggests modifications or improvements to the product based on user responses.
- Develops and maintains documentation or user manuals.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles issues/problems and refers complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Work with Project Manager from kickoff through integration on obtaining customer project requirements.
- Take the lead in reviewing customer requirements and identify gaps in customer needs versus product Features.
- Thoroughly document customer API connectivity requirements and implement it.
- Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, detail oriented, and the capacity to function effectively as part of a team.
- Should be good in written & verbal communication skills, Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to create, read, and understand complex mapping documents.
- Enhance technical skills through hands-on experience with the current tech stack.
- Technical expertise in XML, XSD, JSON, XSLT, Java.
- Knowledge of Mapforce and Python would be added advantage.
