In this role, you will:
Take responsibility for delivering medium or high-complexity feature tasks within agreed timelines.
Ensure that all delivered code meets GE Healthcare quality standards and adheres to established best practices.
Contribute to automated testing by developing tests for assigned components and end-to-end workflows.
Participate in software delivery within a global environment.
Participate in documentation activities for quality management purposes.
Break down problems and estimate time required.
Understand performance parameters and application performance.
Work closely with Product Owner (PO) and architects to understand product requirements & vision.
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Technical Expertise (must have):
Strong hands-on Java expereince is required (primary language for this role)
Experience with Unix / Linux side programming
Proven experience applying SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) practices in a professional software development environment, including independently planning, organizing, and delivering tasks.
Nice to have:
Knowledge in C++ or GOLang
Bash or Python knowledge
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience in creating automated tests
