Position Details:
The ServiceNow Senior Engineer will understand Now Platform, ServiceNow IT Service Management, IT Business Management. This includes modules for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Automated Test Framework and Mobile applications.
You will report into Manager of IT Operations. This position is based in Jackson, FL with 2 days in the office.
You Will:

  • Designs and develop solutions to meet our requirements and technical design documents.
  • Provide guidance how functionality works together and how it works from a technology perspective for complex requirements.
  • Technical issues with non-technical folks and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide direction on solutions to ensure they are flexible, scalable, and adhere to company standards.
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing)
  • Develop customized ServiceNow configurations, including custom scripts, workflows, and orchestration activities
  • Produce detailed, comprehensive software documentation, such as testing plans, requirements specs, design docs, (incorporate technical requirements for user stories)
  • Support integrations to other products and services including the use of IntegrationHub and orchestration, APIs, and related transform maps.
  • Test application code, user interface and third-party integration using Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications, helps coordinates application and platform upgrades
  • Understanding of DevOps including orchestration tools, deploying infrastructure as code (eg Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Coach & executes Agile SDLC. Participate in Initiate and Plan phase


You Have:

  • 2 years hands-on ServiceNow development, administration, and implementation experience focused on NOW platform, ITSM, ITBM, CMDB, CSDM, ITIL, ATF, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer
  • 1-3 years coding in higher-level languages such as: PowerShell, PHP, Python, C++, or Java)
  • 5+ IT industry experience
  • Experience speaking with both business and technical customers at all levels
  • Web-based development languages (JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, SCSS, HTTP/HTTPS, AJAX, JSON, XML)
  • Experience with designing, building, configuring, and testing Integrations; ServiceNow Store, REST API, SOAP API, LDAP, SSO, JDBC, ODBC.
  • ITIL Certification Required
  • ServiceNow Certified System Admin required
  • ServiceNow ITSM Certified Implementer & Certified Application Developer certification a plus
