What you’ll do
-
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve high scale cloud native applications across the full engineering stack using Java, Spring Boot, Angular etc

Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)

Lead a small team of high performing software engineers to achieve business goals while reporting into a senior tech lead. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Leverages knowledge of delivering software that is flexible and incremental to meet business goals.

Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality. Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.

Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.

Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information. Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity.

Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Equifax Solutions. Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred. Preferably GCP.

Responsible for client support query analysis.

Responsible for bringing value ideas and work on NPI's (New Product Initiatives) relevant to the Project.

Should be responsible for the implementation of coding best practices and aligning team with agile processes set for the team.
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
-
10+ years of software engineering experience
-
5+ years experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in mainstream Java, Spring Boot.
-
Experience designing and developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs/Any cloud sdk, GKE/Kubernetes
-
Experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions
-
Experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, understand infrastructure-as-code concepts, Helm Charts, and Terraform constructs

1+ experience leading an engineering team
