Software Engineer (QE)
SUSE is an Open Source pioneer and market leader with a fast paced, exciting environment at the leading edge of Enterprise Linux, Data Center management and Cloud Solutions. Our group is looking for a Software Engineer Quality Engineering with wide experience in software testing to join an international group of engineers at the SUSE Manager QE team. SUSE Manager is an open source solution for managing software defined infrastructures at scale, from bare-metal Linux systems to containers and Kubernetes clusters.

Work together closely with the development, release engineering and documentation teams

Improve the existing test automation framework

Design, write, run and automate test cases

Demonstrate troubleshooting and debugging ability

Contribute to a safe, diverse and inclusive culture
Expectations

Typically 2+ years experience
-
Experience with Ruby, Python or similar languages and Bash scripting
-
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
-
First steps with automation and infrastructure management tools like Terraform or Jenkins
-
Willing to work with public cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP
-
Excellent communication skills and fluent in verbal and written English
