- Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Rapid7 is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for creating a market shifting solution to detect, analyze and remediate all kinds of threats and malicious information in the clear, dark & deep web.

Our team is a group of highly skilled and experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise in areas such as engineering, science, software development, and automation.

Python, Terraform, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Docker, k8s, GCP / AWS. - About the Role
In this role, you will: - You will be quite independent and take tasks from research and POCs to production
- You will take part in developing the company's most important systems and platforms.
- You will work with very knowledgeable and experienced developers with a large scale of skills and capabilities.
- The skills you'll bring include:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python or other backend language and building scalable, high-performance systems and applications.
- 5+ years experience using GCP or AWS
- Proficient in managing Cloud infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform.
- Have a deep understanding of Kubernetes, especially EKS, AKS.
- Understanding of the full lifecycle development process, including business and functional requirements, developing technical designs, implementation of scalable solutions, and object-oriented design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop and test new ideas and concepts
- Familiarity with common best practices, design and architectural patterns.
- Highly motivated, self-learner with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Nice to have:
- Experience with DevOps practices (CI\CD pipelines etc.).
- Experience with ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash).
